Welcome to our site!
My homebase is Alaska, where I live at the wonderful Wolf Lake Airport (4AK6)
Arizona Training: In November 2026 we ceased operations in Arizona. My responsibilities as Executive Director of the Alaska Airmen’s Association continue to require more of my time in Alaska, limiting how often I can be in Arizona. After careful consideration, our last day of Arizona operations is be November 7, 2026. Alpha Kilo Aviation will continue operating in Alaska.
Otter Fly LLC will continue to make Warrior N9571K available for lessons and rentals at Ak-Chin Regional Airport. Otter Fly is owned by Russ Byers, a fellow Alpha Kilo student who is now working on his instrument rating. Russ purchased my personal Warrior a little over a year ago—the same 71K many of you have been flying. It means a great deal to me that someone from our own Alpha Kilo community will be helping keep that opportunity available to you.
Your favorite instructors, Chris (480-276-6981) and Dale (480-232-6162), will continue instructing. The main difference is that you will pay your instructor directly for instruction and pay Otter Fly for the aircraft rental.
